- If you are a co-author of a submitted paper, then you may not be an EFA member and will have to join as well as register.
- If you are a session chair, discussant, presenter or attending co-author you must be a current EFA member and register for the conference.
Update: May 7, 2021
Notification emails are out. Thank you to all track chairs, local scientific committee members and reviewers for a great work! Next step: session chairs and discussants!
The EFA 2021 conference will follow a virtual format. We regret that we will not be able to see you in person at the Bocconi University, due to the still high uncertainty concerning the evolution of the pandemic and the need to decide in advance for organisational purposes, we had no other choice other than hosting the conference in a safe and accessible virtual environment.
The conference will run from Wednesday, August 25, to Friday, August 27. On the first day, there will be the PhD Doctoral Tutorial and networking events. The paper sessions will take place on the following two days, from about 1 pm to 9 pm Central European Time.
More information concerning the program and registration will be available soon.
Update: April 21, 2021
We are working on the program and expect to notify authors by May 7, at the latest.
Update: December 7, 2020
EFA 2021 is organized by Bocconi University and is currently scheduled on August 25-28, 2021. Our main concern is to run the conference in a safe and relaxed environment. We will therefore monitor the evolution of the pandemic closely and will choose the format (i.e., residential or virtual) of the conference accordingly. In any case, we expect to have some remote-participation alternatives, so do not hesitate to submit your work! We will post updates on the conference format here on this page.
